5 Easy and Delicious Egg Breakfast Recipes for Kids

1. Pizza Omelette



  • 8 ISE eggs, beaten
  • 1tsp oregano
  • 4 tsp tomato pasta sauce 
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 1tsp olive oil
  • 85g grated cheddar cheese


  1. Heat grill to high.
  2. Take a bowl and put eggs, oregano, some salt and pepper in it. Whisk them all together. Heat the oil in an ovenproof frying pan, then tip in the eggs. Cook for around 4-5 mins in a low flame, stirring occasionally until the eggs are practically set.
  3. Place it under the grill until it is set and puffed up. Spread the sauce all over and on top of that, spread some cheese and olives as well.
  4. Then grill of them again, until cheese starts melting. Cut them into wedges and your pizza Pizza omelette is ready to serve. Enjoy!


2. Baked Dippy Edges




  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast (You can take any other meat of your choice)
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 8 small spinach leaves
  • One cup grated cheese
  • 4 ISE eggs 
  • 4 slices of bread (it needs to be toasted, buttered and should be cut into dippers to eat with them)


  1. Switch the oven on to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Place 4 ramekins (you can use any other small size bowls as well) in front of you. Cut the chicken and spinach into stripes carefully. Put them in each ramekin.
  2. Squash the cherry tomatoes into the bowl with your fingers. Spoon 2 tomatoes and pour some juice of it into each ramekin.
  3. Break the egg into the bowl, then tip the egg into the ramekin and do the same with the other three eggs as well.
  4. Now, sprinkle some grated cheese on top of each egg. Put them in the oven on an oven tray for 15-18 mins or until the egg white is set.
  5. And they are ready to serve!


  3. Healthy Eggs & Chips




  • 4 ISE Eggs
  • 500g diced potatoes
  • 2 sliced shallots (you can also take sliced small size onions as well)
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 2tsp dried squashed oregano or 1tsp fresh leaves
  • 200g small mushroom


  1. Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Tip the shallots and potatoes into a huge, non-staying simmering tin, shower with some oil, and afterward sprinkle them over with oregano, then, at that point, combine everything as one. 
  2. Bake for 40-45 mins (or until it starts getting brown), then add some mushrooms, cook for another 10 mins until the potatoes are brown and tender.
  3. Now, make gaps in the vegetables and crack an egg into each space. Return to the oven for 3-4 mins or until the eggs are cooked according to your preference.


4. Easy Cheesy Frittata



  • 4 ISE Eggs
  • 100g feta cheese (you can use any other cheese as well)
  • 2-piece chicken breast (you can any other meat of your choice)
  • 4 tbsp of frozen peas, defrosted
  • 1 zucchini, halved them with the ends cut off


  1. Switch an oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Cut the spring onions and put them into the bowl and peas in the bowl as well.
  2. Grate the zucchini, one half at a time, then add into the bowl as well.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces and put them in the bowl. Break the feta and start crumbling it with your hands and then, put them in the bowl.
  4. Crack the eggs in the bowl and whisk them until the yolk are mixed into the white. 
  5. Empty the eggs into the other bowl and mix. Brush a round ovenproof dish, with oil. 
  6. Tip everything into the dish and put the dish in the oven for 30 minutes or until the egg is set.
  7. Serve it with a crusty bread (or anything of your preference) 


5. Cheesy Omelette Burgers



  • 8 ISE Eggs, beaten
  • 200g frozen peas
  • 1tbsp olive or rapeseed oil
  • 4 large burger buns, toasted
  • 85g cheddar, grated
  • 4tbsp onion chutney or chili jam
  • Handful salad leaves (you can take any green leaves of your preference)
  • Tomato slices (optional)
  • Sweet potato wedges (optional)


  1. Take a frying pan, take some oil and let it heat. Now, heat the grill to max as well.
  2. Take the eggs and peas, add them in the pan and mix them properly. Let them for 8 mins on a low-medium heat until the underside is set and is starting to turn golden. Now, scatter over the cheese and grill for 3 mins until the surface is set and the cheese starts to melt.
  3. Along with this, spread each burger bun with chutney or with chili jam. Cut the omelette into 4 wedges and sandwich between the buns, then, at that point, add salad leaves and hardly any cuts of tomato, and serve them with sweet wedges (discretionary)..
  4. Your food is ready.
